Many stores offer a price guarantee that says if you find a competitors ad with a lower price they will honor the lower price but few people actually ask if they will take the other stores coupons and usually they will say yes as it is in their best interest to do so.
Ask if the store will allow you to combine coupons or use multiple coupons. When you combine manufacturers coupons with store coupons and sales you end up maximizing your savings. Many times stores will allow you to do this so make sure that you ask. You can also ask if they will recognize expired coupons. They might and you’ll never know unless you ask.
